What we talked about:
Focus on one or two social media channels that yield the greatest results for your brand
Staying consistently motivated has been a challenge
It’s really hard to “make it” as a blogger, especially food blogging.
Blogs have turned into lifestyle brands and now it’s more about being an influencer.
There are moments of delight that counter the struggle of staying motivated… things that would probably not have happened if I hadn’t started this business.
Find some people that are also trying to start a business on the side to act as your sounding board. Talk to people who are in the same boat, and you never know where that network might lead you.
Don’t get hung up on the minor details. Just go with it.
You’re the boss, you make the decisions, so don’t put so much pressure on yourself.
