Pull content from chicken cooking class I taught awhile ago. Photos are in lightroom.
This is pregnant lady friendly (or just afternoon/had to many coffees already but still want one friendly) and is sooooo good with the almond milk.
I was at Starbucks the other day and had a cold brew toasted coconut coffee. While it was good, it got me thinking of some other flavors – and the fact that I can make my own cold brew in a decaf form so I can drink more of it! Or at least still have my approved one cup a day AND an afternoon cold brew.
Pinterest and food! We know it’s big right? But this new infographic released yesterday from Pinterest shows some new trends – and new days of high traffic – that are pretty interesting.
There are things I know, things I can count on. They comfort me in a time when there is a lot of uncertainty (Becoming a mom! Owning a business! Politics!) And while I’ve gotten pretty comfortable with uncertainty, I have a long way to go before The Great Unknown and I are best buds. That’s the catch 22, isn’t it? Nothing in life is certain, but we long for some stability and routine in our lives. When I make this lasagna, I know, I just know that it will be good. I know that it will make a sh*t ton of food, and I know that the results will be well worth the effort.
2017 is well on it’s way… how is it the end of March already?! I have landed on my word for the year, and I’m dreaming up all kinds of ways to apply it in my life. My word is G R O W. That’s yours?
Grow and dough kinda go hand-in-hand. It’s an easy connection, especially when yeast is involved. Watching dough expand in the bowl is fun! Well, I don’t usually sit there and watch it, it’s more like I check up on it occasionally. But just like a little plant in the garden or my young niece, I get excited over growth. I also get excited over pizza.
I love Valentine’s Day! I know it’s over commercialized, but I love finding ways to make it personal to me and Joel, and the other people in my life that I love. I believe it’s always a good thing to celebrate love and to share love with others.
This post has been YEARS in the making. I made these once about 7 years ago, and they were delicious but suuuuper spicy. Those chipotle chilis in adobo deliver! I always wanted to remake them, but this time I wanted to tame the sauce just a teeny bit. The result was a delicious, sticky, medium heat chicken wing, with the added fun of a dipping sauce.
